“You are what your deep, driving desire is;
As your deep, driving desire, so is your will;
As is your will, so is your deed;
As is your deed, so is your destiny”
The Upanishads
Dear Virtual Pilgrim,
I encourage you with all my heart to make time for yourself each day these two weeks on y/our pilgrimage.
Keep your commitment to yourself and each other.
Have compassion with yourself if you do not keep those commitments.
Stick around, no matter what.
Walk with each other.
This first day as you walk, be aware of your surroundings, of how you meet them, in the moment.
Allow yourself to experience that you that you feel, in your deepest self, you desire to become. What choices does this “you” make? How might “you” move through your day differently? What questions do “you” ask? How do “you” spend your time?
More than just thoughts, allow yourself to live into that feeling. Bring forward that “becoming” as you move through your day.
Allow the process. No need to force it or wrangle it.
Can you feel the distance between you and who would like to become shrinking when you consciously invite the future into the now?
When I step toward the possibility I feel, I know I do.
Today, create intention, begin to step toward who you want to continue becoming.
“How can you get very far,
If you don’t know Who You Are?
How can you do what you ought,
If you don’t know What You’ve Got?
And if you don’t know Which To Do
Of all the things in front of you,
Then what you’ll have when you are through
Is just a mess without a clue.
Of all the best that can come true
If you know What and Which and Who.”

Enjoyed a hot walk today with my dog. Who I want to become is about a felt sense of self confidence and ease, as well as cooperation with nurturing structures (like meditating before plugging in the the outer world). Also, someone who has fun!
Mmmmm. Confidence, ease and fun. Yes!
